Meditation in Barcelona

Where to practice meditation in Barcelona? This site provides an updated list of all mediation centers in Barcelona ordered by tradition and size of the organization.

Where to start when selecting a suitable meditation center?

  • Distance: Just go for the closest center?
  • Size: Larger centers usually follow a religious traditions. Smaller organizations may cater to specific needs.
  • Price: Centers with unpaid teachers usually charge €5 to €15 per class. Full-time teachers need to charge more, but may have less a religious focus.
  • Traditional vs. Western: Traditional schools (Tibetan, Zen, ...) are frequently led by carismatic teachers, while western schools tend to be less religious and easier to understand.
